Special education is an individualized therapeutic and learning program that is tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities. The services and supports one child receives may be very different from what another child receives. It’s all about individualization (individualized education plan). What’s important is giving kids the resources they need to make progress in school.
Special education centers on the education of children or adults who have special learning needs. Teaching occurs in a manner that touches upon these physiological, cognitive and/or behavioral differences and how they vary from person-to-person. Special education refers to a range of services that can be provided in different ways and in different settings.
A child with disabilities qualifies for special education and these category include autism, hearing impairment and intellectual disability. Another category, called “specific learning disability,” applies to many kids who have learning and attention issues and having limited strength or alertness, which affects educational performance. Children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are often covered by this category. A specific learning disability most often affects skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, reasoning and doing math. Common learning issues in this category include:
- Dyslexia: Difficulty with reading, writing, spelling, speaking
- Dyscalculia: Difficulty doing math problems, understanding time and money, remembering math facts
- Dysgraphia: Difficulty with handwriting, spelling, organizing ideas
- Dyspraxia: Difficulty with hand-eye coordination, balance, fine motor skills
- Auditory processing Disorder: Difficulty interpreting what the ear hears (which is different from having a hearing impairment)
- Visual processing issues: Difficulty interpreting what the eye sees (which is different from having a visual impairment)
Special Education teachers and professionals are not regular teachers in a regular school, they are trained / licensed personnel with techniques and methodology of impacting on kids with learning disabilities and they are always found in Special school, they make good use of tools such as preordained individual and group lesson plans, modified equipment and materials, user-friendly accessories and equipment, and other helpful inventions that are meant to help children with learning disabilities for a productive and active life in school and society
Children with learning disabilities receive individualized teaching and other key resources which focus on his strengths as well as his challenges, thus enhancing the child progress in school.Women’s shoes – adidas hermosa mesh backpack purple and blue color , GiftofvisionShops – Fitness – adidas nite jogger kids – Sports shoes | SBD – 100 Release Date – nike free hyperfeel cheap women boots shoes sale Tech Grey CT8527 – lunar glides by nike cleats for sale on craigslist
